Best, Most Honest Auto Mechanics on the North Shore

Let’s face it, whether you care to admit it or not, most of us do not have the first clue when it comes to car maintenance and repair. Finding an honest, trustworthy and reasonably priced auto shop can be a daunting task. Surprisingly, we have come across a number of mechanics throughout the North Shore whose customers sing their praises and beyond. It’s a comforting feeling knowing whether you need routine maintenance or a major repair, there are plenty of quality options around that will have you and your car cruising along in no time! The hard part may be choosing which one to go to. 

Wil-Ridge Auto Service, 2620 Crawford Ave., Evanston

There’s a reason that Baykar Tatosian at Wilmette Auto Care has such a strong, loyal following. His honesty and integrity as a mechanic surpasses no other.  His rates are reasonable, he does not nickel and dime customers for minor fixes, and he will not try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs. In operation since 1987, Wilmette Auto care provides full service repair, and is conveniently located across from the Metra. They are happy to give rides for people who live/work close by.
