35th Annual Frank Mantooth Jazz Festival
Feb. 3: Student performances begin at 8:30 am; Public concerts at 12 pm; Evening concert: 7:30 pm

Taking place in the school’s new music facilities, this year’s featured band is Delfeayo Marsalis presents the Uptown Jazz Orchestra. The festival is a free, daylong, noncompetitive student jazz festival, hosting more than 40 visiting high school and middle school jazz ensembles from all over the country; it’s one of the nation's largest. There will also be three free public concerts during the day featuring The Marques Carroll Quintet and the University of Miami Frost Concert Jazz Band, plus other highlights.
