There’s no escaping it! Holiday season is officially upon us and there are many ways to get into the holiday spirit this weekend!  Jump start your holiday shopping at the Jewelry & Gift Show or the Woman’s Club of Evanston’s Holiday Bazaar. Not ready to shop until you drop? How about taking in the sights and sounds of the season at Wilmette's 31st Annual Holiday Parade and Highwood’s or Highland Park’s Tree Lighting Celebrations. What could be my favorite event, based on originality on its own is Glencoe’s Snoopy Thanksgiving where you get to re-create and enjoy Snoopy’s memorable Thanksgiving meal. And if all you really need is a few good laughs then don’t miss a special comedic performance by North Shore’s own Peter Lipsey!
